We are delighted to announce the signing of pianist George Li for worldwide management.
A name on the lips of many people around the world right now, Chinese-American pianist George Li is the 2015 Tchaikovsky Piano Competition Silver Medallist. His sensational performances in Moscow during the summer were seen by over 10 million people in 179 countries across the globe. Among his many accolades, George was the First Prize winner of the 2014 Concours International Grand Prix Animato in Paris, the 2012 Gilmore Young Artist Award (its youngest recipient), the Verbier Academy’s 2012 Tabor Foundation Piano Award and the 2010 Young Concert Artists International Auditions.
George Li participated in a masterclass with Lang Lang at the age of 9 and since his orchestral debut at the same age, Li has collaborated with orchestras such as the Cleveland Orchestra and the Simon Bolivar Youth Orchestra of Venezuela and has performed recitals at major venues throughout the world, including the Concertgebouw, Musikverein, Dvořák Hall, Severance Hall, Jordan Hall, The Tabernacle, Lincoln Center and the Kennedy Center. He has also performed for President Obama and German Chancellor Angela Merkel at The White House in Washington D.C. Upcoming highlights include many performances around the world with Valery Gergiev and the Mariinsky Orchestra, National Philharmonic of Russia, NCPA Orchestra of Beijing, among others.
George Li is currently enrolled in the prestigious Harvard-New England Conservatory joint degree program, studying with Wha Kyung Byun and Russell Sherman.
