George Li returns to the White Nights Festival in St Petersburg for two performances on 16 and June 2018.
He starts off with a solo recital performance at the Mariinsky Concert Hall with a programme of Haydn Keyboard Sonata in E-flat major and Beethoven Piano Sonata No.14 in C-sharp minor, followed by an all-Liszt second half including Consolation No.3 in D-flat major and Réminiscences de Don Juan.
This performance is followed by an appearance with the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra, also at the Mariinsky Concert Hall, to perform Mendelssohn Piano Concerto No.1 under the baton of Valery Gergiev.
