After his huge triumph at the 2015 Tchaikovsky Competition, pianist George Li has embarked on a European tour, celebrating the laureates of the competition.
On 28 October 2015, Li performs at Symphony Hall in Birmingham with the Mariinsky Orchestra and Valery Gergiev, as part of the orchestra’s UK tour. Li ends the concert by performing Liszt’s Piano Concerto No 1 in E flat major.
Li’s next stop with the Tchaikovsky Laureates is on the 26 November, when he returns to Moscow to perform with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia and Vladimir Spivakov.
