George Li makes his debut with the Hamburg Philharmonic Orchestra this month, joining the orchestra for two sold-out concerts at the newly opened Elbphilharmonie on 12 and 13 March 2017. Li performs Rachmaninov Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.
The concerts in Hamburg are just the latest in a string of major debuts that has included concerts with the LA Philharmonic, Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin, Orchestre National de Lyon and hr-Sinfonieorchester, as well as Li’s Barcelona debut and his first performance at the Philharmonie de Paris, both with the Mariinsky Orchestra.
Li makes two further debuts in the coming months: with the Seattle Symphony Orchestra in April, and with the Malmö Symphony Orchestra in May.
