George Li embarks on a tour of North America and Europe this month, beginning with a recital at San Francisco’s Davis Symphony Hall on 8 October 2017. The performance, presented by the San Francisco Symphony, comes just weeks after Li made his debut with the orchestra in their season-opening gala.
Following the performance in San Francisco, Li then gives recitals at the Liederhalle in Stuttgart on 14 October, the Chan Centre in Vancouver on 22 October and finally gives his debut recital at New York’s Carnegie Hall on 27 October.
Li’s programme draws on his debut album, Live at the Mariinsky, which is released this month on Warner Classics. During the tour, he performs works by Haydn, Beethoven, Rachmaninov and Liszt.
